Mixed Nuts: Kim, Berta, Cat, Ali, Tea, Erika, and Tammy
This year our "Mixed Nuts" team placed 4th out of 43 teams. We started playing pool play Friday evening at 6:00 pm, and played our last game around midnight. (6 wins 0 losses) We were starving at this point, so we headed to Denny's, the only place open in Moab at that time. It took 2 hours to get our food! Terrible service, but great company! Then we headed to the hotel, and of course, we couldn't sleep, so Kim and I stayed up another couple hours talking. Finally went to sleep at 5 am. At 5:40 am, Tammy's husband called! We had to get to the gym by 6:15 am, to play the 6:30 game. We lost our first game of the morning, but won the next 3. We were put into the A bracket. That bracket had the top 14 teams of the tournament. Long story shorter...we ended up placing 4th. We played some awesome teams, got to play till 10:30 pm Saturday night, and feel pretty good about our playing! Great times!

Good thing you guys are young! If I'd missed that much sleep I wouldn't be able to see the ball, much less hit it! Congrat on the 4th place!
There is something about your team that reminds me of the Taylorsville 2nd Ward Beehive team in 1966.
