It's a go!

After a lot of time figuring out floor plans with the architect, and getting the engineers approval, we finally signed papers on Tuesday, May 20, and are ready to start on our new house!

 This is our lot.
 Yay for orange paint!

Our side yard fence is going in.  It separates us from the Jordan River Trailhead

Pics for Caitlyn 5/2/14

These two are pretty funny together!  This day, they installed a motorized bike rack!  I'm totally kicking myself for not taking video of these two giving eachother rides up and down on the bike rack.

Happy day....I got my lens back that has been at the shop forever!  Olive was kind enough to let me take pictures of her to see if it worked.  Yep, it can take pretty cute pictures again!

Each day we drive past the lot to see if there is any progress.  Since the plans haven't been totally drawn up, we know that there won't be progress, but we still check anyway!  Ok, we are a little excited about it!

There is progress on the lot next door.  They have made the trail head that connects to the Jordan River trail.  It's ready for asphalt.  It will have grass planted on the berms.  The bridge will go in soon, since there is a ribbon cutting on May 28.

So, we are now living at Amanda's.  It's funny watching what goes on here!  These guys were supposed to go to Idaho to visit Mike's brother's family, but Nora came down with Crupe.   That was one sick little girl!  Dex was so disappointed.  Mike fixed that...backyard campout!  These kids had so much fun helping Mike set up the tent.  Funniest thing ever watching Mike set up the tent with 3 of the cutest helpers ever!

  So much help!

Mike needed Dex to hold the pole....if only he could catch it!

We were constantly wiping Nora's nose.  She just carried the package of Kleenex around in her mouth...she needed her hands for other things.

Nora had a really rough night.  Didn't get to sleep till 4:30 a.m.  Grandma has just the medicine. (it works for whatever ails me)
 You are welcome Amanda!

 This is one happy kid!

Yep, he grew up over night!
