The Francises come to town! 5-31-2020

Michigan has been on "stay at home orders" since the middle of March, and they just extended them to June 12.  That was enough to push Amanda into loading up the kids and driving to Utah!  They haven't left their house in almost 3 months!

Hot tubbing, walks, feeding horses, bounce houses, and bonding!
Getting home schooling done, and then heading to the cabin.

Braden figured out how to get internet to the cabin without really having internet.  Amanda set it all up.

Trying out the new deck Grandpa made for us!

The hanging tent was a hit!

Grandpa teaching Dex how to play 5 crowns.

Cabin school!

After cabin schooling is done, we headed to Palisades State Park.

The Mitchell's come visit the cabin 5-29-2020

When we got to the cabin, there were wild flowers waiting for us.  Braden and his family had been up there and left them for us!

Before the Mitchells arrived, we hurried and spread wood chips on the trail down to the playset.

We have the Mitchells.
Of course, we took them to our favorite places.  Walking the loop, and taking a picture at our favorite lookout place!
Next up, showing off the waterfall.

We drove into Spring City to check out the sites.  There deer were in someone's front yard.

We found the spring that Spring City is named for.

Up Spring City Canyon the sight were so pretty.

Dean and Glendon went for a run from the cabin down to the high school.  Then we headed off to Moroni, to hike Maple Canyon.

This picture cracks me up...the rock climber in the background looks so awkward!

Glendon and Toni were such "gamers", willing to do whatever we suggested.
Glendon, Dean and Ej all made it to the waterfall at the back of the canyon.  Toni knew her limits, and waited in the shade for us.

Dean and Glendon watching a deer eat the corn they left out for the turkeys!  These two were having a contest as to which turkey feed the birds would actually perfer....so far, only the deer have had any interest in either!

That was a really fun weekend and we got to check out places we had never been to.
