Back in Michigan in time for Dexter's birthday 3-10-2022

We are back in Michigan!

The snow on the lake is so pretty.....and cold!

It's cold in Michigan, who knew?!

I got  to do a little decorating...

Caitlyn embordered this cute deer for our lake house.  It looks great in my kitchen.

This little chef came with no writing on his chalkboard, so I get to play with that and change the sayings as I want.

Someone gave Braden and Hanna a tile with this written on it.  I thought it would be cute to paint it on a canvas. I am happy with how that turned out.

Caitlyn labeled this look "the sheetrock angel".  This is getting to be a common look for Deaner.  He has been working so hard to get the upstairs done.  We are getting close to painting upstairs.

Watching the "pecking order" of the waterfowl on the lake is entertaining!  There is only this little spot by our dock that is thawed, and that's where the food is.  The swan trumps all.  She kicked the Canada geese out.   The geese had just kicked the ducks out.

We got to be at Amanda's house for Dexter's birthday.  My favorite part was Miles giving Dex the present that Miles made for Dex....A computer game, staring Dex!  Miles was so pleased with it!

Dex was having a friend birthday party after school, so the twins got to spend the night at our Lake house!  They are the first visitors to spend the night!  I loved this!  It was for times like this that we bought this place.  And yes, it was as great as I had imagined!

Nora was trying to take a selfie with a bookmark she had made.  Holding it in her hand and with her tongue for the picture.  She figures things out!

Miles was trying to explain the rules to the game "Eldon Ring".  Deaner is a good grandpa...acting interested.

S L E E P O V E R!
We loved having Nora and Miles over!

We had to get the kids back home early on Saturday.  Nora had ballet, and Miles had a soccer game.

Miles is proud of the welt on his abs, he took a ball to his stomach, and it hit so hard it left marks where the seams on the ball were!
So fun to be here with this family!
