Lovin Pinterest! Halloween dinner

If you are not playing on pinterest, you might want to look into it. (pinterest.com) So many fun ideas!

Usually I don't take pictures of my bathroom, but you have to see the before and after.

So here is the before. Yes, my bathroom has looked like this for the last 10 years.

Here is the after.

Just needed the idea...that's where pinterest come in! This is the picture that was posted on pinterest. We bought the shelves from Ikea, and decorated with stuff we already had.

Amanda got me started on pinterest. We went down to her house last Sunday, and she was trying all these new recipes she had found on that site....So I decided for Sunday dinners, I'm going to try at least one new recipe.

Caitlyn showed up and we put her to work on "carving" our pumpkins for our cheese burgers.

Here are our cheeseburgers. Ours were even cuter than the ones we copied!

Zombie-Manda, Ash from the Evil Dead movies-Mike, and Elmo-Dexter showed up.

Dex loves pumpkins, so we were hoping this would make him eat something other than a Popsicle. He liked the "pumpkin" cheeseburgers, but still wouldn't eat them. He loved playing with the jello pumpkins, but wouldn't eat them either.

(not my problem, I loved his reaction to all the "pumpkin" food!)

The new recipe for this Sunday was this spinach strawberry salad. Dean candied the pecans and I made the poppy seed salad dressing from scratch. It was sooooo good!

Amanda Andrews and Caitlyn decided to dress up as Ninja turtles to head down for the last "Scary Movie Sunday" at Mike and Amanda's house.

If Grandpa is outside working on something, you can bet Dex is close behind! Time to winterize the sprinkler system.

We had to dress Dex warm, and he thought these gloves were awesome!

When we put his fingers in the right slots, it was even better!

Now it's time to get to work.

Sorry, he was just so stinkin' cute in this hat I couldn't help snapping a bunch of pictures!

Dean would force the water out, and as soon as Dex could figure out which sprinkler was going to spray, he would take off running for it.

After working that hard, it's time for these boys to play a little.

Our neighbor let Dex pick out his very own pumpkin. That was one happy Dex!

Dean & EJ bike around Bear Lake 10-10-11

Dean and I decided we wanted to ride around Bear Lake one more time this year. It was a little cold, but so pretty!

This picture is up on the north shore. It is by far my favorite part of the ride!

We stopped at Gladys' Place to stretch.

The way Dean took this picture of me, it appears I stopped at the Liquor store....which may not have been a bad idea at this point!

The Marina. Looks totally abandoned. This place is dead after Labor Day.

Home Town Drive-In was closed

Didn't appear business was booming at the pizza place either!

Odette and I, and a bunch of Odette's friends all ride around the lake each year. At the end of the ride, we always grab a chair and sit out on the road to cheer for the others as they finish the ride. Odette didn't disappoint!

Dean went for a run the next morning, and instead of an ice bath, he went out into the lake to fetch the anchor. It was pretty much the same as an ice bath!

I know better than to go up to Bear Lake in the fall! (that's the time of year we bought our last place) All the people are gone, and the colors are amazing! We found this lot we really like.....

We got this section ready to put seed down, so next year there will be grass out to the tree. Even in crappy weather, this is an amazing place to hang out!

Lovin' this time with my Dad

Since the beginning of the summer, my dad and I have been going fishing about once a week.

We go in his little fishing boat.

We got Dean to come with us and take our boat out once, and my mom has come a couple of times, but mostly it's just me and and dad.
