Odds and Ends

This post is going to be just a little scattered....

It's official, Braden got his degree from BYU!

Oh Dexter....look what Grandma bought....we are going to read so many books together in this rocking chair! Be excited!

This is a very confused robin....lilacs blooming, with snow on them? (May 24th storm)

Last year, a wind gust blew our table over and shattered the glass...

...made for a really cool project for Dean!

Oops, how did this get in here?....oh yeah, I remember, it snowed 2 days ago!

This is what that last picture was supposed to look like.

I like this table even more than I did with glass on it! Good job Deaner!

Saying good-bye to the Francis family

After the marathon, we had to go say good-bye to Mike, Amanda, and Dex...as you can see from the picture, Dex didn't like that idea!

Grandma Ellis and Dexter

Dex loves his Aunt Caitlyn! (temp neck tattoo and all)

For some reason, these two look like they could be related

Ogden Marathon 5-15-10

Friday evening we had to drive up to Ogden to pick up our race numbers. Josh and Meg were so kind as to let us stay at their house that evening so we didn't have to drive home and up again the next morning at 3:30 am. We got to sleep in till 4! We had to be on a bus by 4:45 to take us to the start line up above Pineview.

It was an awesome course. We all had a great race..

Erika spent time traveling back and forth from Virginia for the last 2 months, so training kind of got put on the back burner. Her goal for this race was to enjoy it and finish it. That she did. It was such a pretty course. Braden and Dean wanted to get a 3:50. They both finished with PR's at 3:46, so they were pretty excited about their performances. Everyone is feeling great after running this one.

Caitlyn, in true Caitlyn fashion, came up to cheer us on at
mile 26. She hung out with Michelle and kids, whose husband/dad, Tyler was also running it.

That evening we went up to soak in Greg's hot tub. Feels so good!
