We are going to miss this!

So if you forget and leave the bathroom door open, you are guaranteed to have an empty roll of toilet paper in that bathroom.

He won't quit until every little piece is off!

Then when he got busted, he tried to put the paper back on the roll.

Mike and Manda are home from their trip now, so I guess that means I have to start doing things around the house other than just watch all the funny things Dex would do.

Playin' with Dex

Happy Valentines Day!

Mike and Amanda went to Phoenix, and we get to play with Dex for the week! First night, Dex slept for 12 hours!

Day 2, we decided to go visit Caitlyn

Caitlyn got off work a little early to sit down and eat with us. I love eating at Elements!

(Manda, this is just water we are giving him, I promise! We only give him Dr. Pepper when he is spending the night at your house, while he is here....No caffeine!)

Trying to walk off all the calories we ate at Elements! We took Dex to the park, but it was just a little too cold to really stay and play.

We are having a blast with this kid!

Stake Presidency Dinner 2-12-11

Dean and I decided we needed to have a dinner with all the new members of the Stake Presidency, including the clerks and ex. sec., and their wives. (Mostly so I would get to know who they were!) We were only missing the ex. sec, and that was because his wife had a baby 2 days before....I guess it's ok they missed the dinner. It was fun to meet each of these people, and now I have a face to put with the name.

I'm going to attempt to list the people and their callings, and then if Dean ever comes home, he can correct the list.

These guys have all been very busy these last couple weeks. I'm sure things will slow down, but it's nice to know who Dean is hanging out with!

District Award of Merit

For six years, Dean has been serving on the District Scout Relations Committee in our area. That role has now been assigned to someone else. At the annual awards banquet tonight, he was honored and awarded the District Award of Merit. It was great and appropriate to have his parents there for event.

Braden says I haven't blogged forever....after all, it's been a week! I promised him I would get a post up, but we haven't done anything exciting.....except play with Dex!

In every picture I took with a flash Dex's hair looks really red.

Grandpa loves to makes chocolate chip cookies for Dex, (and to bribe Amanda into coming over!) Dex made this lovely mess with just one cookie! Really? Is there that much chocolate in just one cookie?!
