Day 2, Alaska. Feb. 28, 2021

 Good Morning Juneau!

This is the view from Caitlyn's living room window.
 Hello Mount Roberts.

Hangin' out at Caitlyns place.
That Alaska wall hanging was made from book spines of books about Alaska.  James and Caitlyn are so creative!

A Juneau trip is not complete until you hike
to Nugget Falls.  Notice the Mendenhall Glacier in the background.

Caitlyn volunteers at this book store.
Here we loaded up on books, puzzles, and games to head out to the cabin.

We had to kill a little time, so we walked around the shrine.

This is where we are going to stay for the next few days.  Not what I was expecting.  I thought we were going to a remote, rustic cabin.  Remote, yes, rustic....?

I think we are going to enjoy our stay!

...and this was just day one. Alaska, Feb 27,2021

My dad was put into the intensive care unit a couple of days before I was to fly out to Alaska.  After talking it over with my mom,and the doctors telling us Dad would be in the ICU for a while,  I decided I would still go on my trip.  I was meeting Amanda and Nora in Juneau to spend a few days playing with Caitlyn.

We met up in Seattle, were on the same flight from Seattle to Juneau.

We arrived in Juneau really late.

The next morning, it time to catch up and start playing!

Nora meets Barley

Good Morning Juneau!

Caitlyn and James made an offer on this house.  We had to go check it out!
