We had a great race today. The weather was perfect, and the course was awesome. Neither of us have ever run a trail run, but both of us really enjoyed it.
I placed 2nd in my age division in the 5k.
Dean placed 1st in his age division in the half marathon.
To stick with tradition, we had our pictures taken in our race shirts, but no Cafe Rio this time, California doesn't have them here, so will have to have it as soon as we get home!
We went over to Min and Mary's, and took tons of pictures of the kids playing with the animals. Here is a sampling:

I'm so glad to see you guys racing. And congratulations on the 1st and 2nd place finishes. It does pay to be older! We are doing the Shamrock half marathon in Saratoga Springs on the 17th but haven't done any races for a couple of months.
Nice job! You guys rock! The kid and animal pictures are great, but I'd like to see more, please?
