Juneau, day 5

July 16, 2013
We got to go on one of Amanda's tours today!  The dog sled rides on Douglas Island!  It was fun to see Amanda in action.

We met Caitlyn back in Juneau for lunch.  She knows the best places to eat!  Tracy's crab legs and Crepe Escape.

Caitlyn went back to work, and we decided to drive to both ends of Glacier Highway.  39 miles.
This is the end of the road on the south.

Each time we would see a stream full of salmon, we would get out and check for bears.
Up toward the north end of the road, we stopped at Amalga Harbor.
This place was beautiful!  It was so weird seeing so many fish jump!  I could have stayed there all day watching the fishermen, the fish, and just enjoying the scenery.

...and now we are at the end of the road to the North.  Yep, that's it.  There are no roads beyond this.  That's why you can't drive into Juneau.
Auke Bay was one of my favorite spots.
