Last 4-wheelin' trip for this year 10-20-10

Yay! We get one more 4 wheeling trip!

This time we talked our friend Steve into coming with us.

I guess it's a "man thing", but they have to tinker with the machines before we can ride on them. (so, I can put flowers on this blog post, that's a "woman thing" i guess) No idea if they really do anything, but they were serious about it

Time to decide which trail we are going to take. Today we will head up to Wolverine Ridge.

To get to Wolverine ridge, we have to ride through the burn area. Kind of eerie if ya ask me.

In the burn area, there is this board walk. Haven't seen that before. It was really cool, someone has put a lot of effort into making sure you can still ride on these trails and not have washouts from erosion.

Up towards the top of the ridge, there was this worn tee-shirt. Made us wonder about the kid that wandered off from his boy scout camp and never was found...could this be his?

Perfect day for a long ride.

Next photos of the cabin will probably be on the snowmobile. Time to put the 4 wheelers away.
