We had a great time at the Lehi outdoor pool.
The Francis kids dove right in, rode the slide, they are very at home in the water!
It took a while, but Livy finally decided to try the giant slide!
She loved it! Wanted to do it all by herself.
Some big kids bullied her at the top of the slide, so that was the end of her excitement.
Stupid kids!
Mike giving kids diving lessons....let's just say it was very entertaining!
Dex went off the high dive....twice!
...and then things go interesting. Time to leave, Mike takes his kids to the dressing room to get into dry clothes. We load into the car, and Mike can't find his wallet. Goes back to pool office, and yep, wallet is in the lost and found. He come back out to the car, changes his pants in front of the car, and we drive away. Many surface roads and a freeway later, Mike can't find his phone. Stops the car (on a surface road, and we can hear it vibrating, but can't hear the ring. He gets out of the car, and finds his phone sitting outside on the car! He has a funny look on his face...he had put his phone and his wallet on the car when he changed his pants! Phone made the ride, but the wallet didn't! So back to the pool office, to ask if anyone had turned in a wallet...yes, the same wallet he had retrieve from that office 15 minutes ago! No wallet. We retraced our drive, and Mike thought he saw his wallet in the construction area of the freeway. No stopping there, we would get killed! Mike and his dad went back later, and parked in a emergency turn out, didn't find his wallet, but found his credit cards, costco card, Amanda's 10th grade ID, 80% of the things in his wallet, except for his drivers license and the wallet! He was supposed to catch a flight in the morning back to Michigan, and now he has no picture ID! Things were a little stressful, but they let him on the plane, his expensive phone was not damaged or lost, his wallet was gone, but all his credit cards were in his possession. So happy ending? Kind of.
