9/13-21/2022 Alaska

We got to finally see Caitlyn and James' new house

Their view and backyard are amazing.
Dean didn't waste any time jumping into projects.  First morning there we headed over to Home Depot.  The fall colors there were so bright!

In Juneau, I have some favorites spots that I visit every trip.
Sandy Beach is one of my favorites!

Saw this print in the sand...either very large dog or a bear.

Nugget Falls and the Mendenhall Glacier are a must!

Downtown Juneau
Some of my favorites are the whale statue, the board walk, and watching float planes land.

We went to a fundraiser with James and Caitlyn, somewhere "down the road", then to Auke Bay, an other one of my favorites.  I love walking to the boat docks.

This trip, Caitlyn got us tickets to a couple of fun concerts, and we also had to try Tracy's King Crab Shack.

The Flume trail is beautiful, and especially this time of the year!

This is where the land slide went over the trail.  It had been closed for a while, but is now open.

There was also a landslide at beginning of Perseverance trail.

Dean and I decided to hike up above the Eagle Crest ski resort.  The colors were amazing!
That is Admiralty Island in the background.

Building these built in nightstands was one of the projects Dean worked on with Caitlyn.

Benches in the eating area was another project.

Spotted this bear off  Egan highway

Amazing Alaska
