On our way to Phoenix we spent the night in Kanab. It just happened to be Derek's birthday, so we horned in on the birthday celebrations....and kicked Derek out of his room, Happy Birthday Derek!
We got up to leave the next morning, and there just happened to be balloon festival going on, right outside the family room window!
That kept us entertained for quite a while, so cool!

Yeah, you're blogging again. I miss my fellow bloggers! I feel like insta/fb is so superficial and usually very uninformative. Looks like some fun little trips. How about a northern cali trip? We're swimming and boating already if that seals the deal. I guess you could come when the lake house (Adam calls it a cabin, but it's more house on a lake than a cabin) is done in a few months and relive the good old bear lake days. Body games and all, maybe even a little hack sack for good measure. ;)
