I'm officially tired!

Jeff and Julie came up to Salt Lake and stayed with us for the last week. They arrived the evening that we came home from Trek, so we were a little chaotic right from the start, and it just got better from there. These kids love their Uncle Dean!

The DeMies invited us over for swimming and a B-B-Q. We all had a great time! Thanks Mike and Cathy

Field trip to Kennecott Copper Mines
I went with the Jensons to the copper mines. I could sit and watch those trucks all day long. It was amazing to watch Jacob in the musuem. He loved it!

Field trip to the Salt Lake Temple, the Conference Center, Church History Museum, and the Church Library.
First stop: Church Library. It was great because Dean and I were able to get copies of our patriarchal blessings. Now our originals should show up.
Next, to the conference center to see an art exhibit.
On Temple Square, we tried to find Sister Cox, Nathan and Calla's daughter who is serving a mission on Temple Square. That quest took us to the Joseph Smith Building, the Museum, the Lion House, and finally to the Beehive house, where we finally found her! It was great seeing her, she is so fun to be around.

Over in the Museum, we got to play in the kids room. So many fun things to do!

That wasn't enough for one day, so they headed up to East Canyon for an evening of boating. (I got to go do visits for Special Needs Mutual, so these pictures are compliments of Julie and her new camera)

Jeff and Julie both skied!

Friday, Dean and I spent 8 hours at the temple open house. Jeff and Julie and all their kids, and Janna and Kass, Drew, and the twins all came through and we got to be in the sealing room, just our family, and talk about the importance of being sealed together as a family. It was an awesome experience.

We were supposed to head up to Manorlands after we were finished with our temple duties, but decided we would spend the night at our house and head up in the morning instead. So we roasted marshmallows and hotdogs in our backyard instead.

Next stop: 4 wheelin at Manorlands....tired yet?!

....I think Jeff is!

We had so much fun with this watermelon. Jordan insisted on feeding me chunks, and they usually dropped in the dirt on their way to my mouth. Didn't stop him....

4 Wheelin was a hit for young and old!

Next stop: Memory Grove

To top the week off, we got to take Kassidy's bridal pictures. She and Drew are so fun to be around! Here are a few of the pictures taken up at Memory Grove. Kass looked amazing!

The best part of the whole week was the call we got from Amanda telling us we are going to be grandparents!

Oh yeah! I'd say you guys are ready for grandkids! I am tired just from reading about your list of activities! Where does your sister-in-law get her energy?

I'm tired just reading it! Thanks for all of the fun pictures of the family, it makes me feel closer. I'm going to steal some of them to show here. Who is this little boy that keeps showing up with the Jenson family, what happened to the little baby boy they used to have?

FYI, my password is "winos" isn't it a shame that my first thought was of my dad. So blessed that the church is in our lives.

What a week. I don't think you'll be that busy again until you're called as mission president.
