This is the first time we got to meet Mina.
She is so sweet.
Caitlyn and James own a rental building, and they keep the top floor apartment for family and friends. So after meeting Mina, we went over to the "Chalet" and got settled in. It had been a long day of travel.
The next morning we came right back over for more Mina snuggles!
We just can't get enough of her!
In the neighborhood where we are staying, there is this really small house, that decorates in a really big way.
Also, check out this fire truck, with Santa! This was driving past Caitlyn's house!
It's a fun time to be in Alaska!
There are so many amazing places in Juneau, one of which is downtown Juneau, and the boardwalk.
From the boardwalk you can see James and Caitlyn's house, see white arrow.
The walk to "the whale" never gets old.
Another place I love to visit, is Auke Bay.
We are also trying to get a picture for a Christmas card, so the explains all the posed photos.
We hike to Nugget Falls. ....every single trip!
The flume trail is a must!

We were in Alaska on the winter solstice. Kind of cool, and lots of dark!
This candle picture was taken on 12/21/23. James and Caitlyn invited us over for a fun dinner.
I was amazed at all the support they have in their community. They had a "dinner Train", so each night a different friend would show up with dinner. So comforting to see how many people love and support them.
James is a big deal in Juneau. It's really fun to see how respected James and Caitlyn are in their community. Below is the official White House Christmas Card. How cool is that?!
We saw many amazing things, but Caitlyn's little family was the best by far!
