All three kids in the same state at the same time!
Caitlyn was in Utah, scheduled to fly home to Alaska on Saturday April 8. Grandpa Ellis' death made her decide to extend her stay, and fly home the day after the funeral on April 12.
Amanda made arrangements to come out as soon as she heard about Grandpa's death. She arrived on Wednesday, April 5. Dean cut his trip short and drove up to SLC that same evening.

Dean and I did our shift at Grandma's. It was such a different experience from what we had been doing taking care of Grandpa. We slept through the night!
Amanda spent time with Grandma, reading nursery rhymes, and the Children's friend to her. Grandma stayed really focused on those kid books.
A couple years ago, we made this directional sign for Bob and Mary. It was looking tired. We had decided before Bob died that we would give it a face lift.
Grandma came out to oversee the project.

It was a sweet time with Mary.
She didn't understand what was going on, and all the flowers and people visits were very confusing to her. We could tell she liked having us there.

Cailtyn drove up Saturday from Southern Utah.
So Easter Sunday, all kids were here!

We were missing James, Mike, Miles, Nora and Dex. This was an unexpected Easter surprise to have Amanda, Braden, and Caitlyn all here!
