Helena 9/11/2016 ....it's all hearsay.

Braden and Dean went up to Helena this week without me, so everything in this post is hearsay.  Meaning I personally didn't witness any of it, it's totally from pictures they sent me.

Mike and Braden went to work installing the kitchen cabinets.

I'm willing to bet Amanda was the only one willing to read the instructions...first.

This is the before and after, looking from the back door to the front door.

In this before and after, there is a white beam above Braden's head in the yellowish picture, that same beam is the dark beam above Amanda's head in the second picture.  Since walls have been taken down, and posts moved, it's hard to get an idea of how this was.  The two pictures were taken from about the same spot.

This is where the breakfast nook is.  The window into the mud room is now a wall.

These next three pictures were taken from almost the same spot.
Trying to find some reference point, the post in inside the wall, behind the picture in the first photo, the post is off of Dean's left shoulder in the second picture, and the post is wrapped and painted white in the last picture.

Dean finished up the tile in the master bathroom, and installed the lights over the fireplace

They got carpet!!!!

Nora thinks her blue stairs are cool. (it's just the pad, Amanda didn't get blue carpet)
It's been a while since these guys have seen carpet, Dex liked making designs in it.
 The princess room is done!

First night of everyone sleeping in beds in a long time!  The master bedroom is totally done, so they moved the kids beds down so the guy could carpet the kids rooms.

We are headed up again this week, I'm going to try to take pictures from the same spots as the original pictures for the before and afters....so stay tuned.

Looking so good. Love that house! Is Montana a permanent (many years) residence for them now? - Summer

Summer, I think they are there for a while. Their house is amazing! We are headed up there today. I'm loving your Europe posts, it's motivating me to blog mine, I still have several countries in Europe, and lots of Japan to blog.
