7-6-2015 American Fork Twin

Dean and I decided we were going to hike to each of the highest peaks in all 29 counties.  The highest peak in Salt Lake County is American Fork Twin.   Elevation 11,489.
Just checked that one off our list!
The peak that has a white top on it, up Little Cottonwood Canyon, is American Fort Twin.

There it is in the background.

Dean on the ridge, calling his dad to wish him a happy birthday.

 The top!

Looking off to the south, towards Timp.

To the west, overlooking the Salt Lake valley.

Pfeifferhorn and Lone Peak.  We have "bagged" both of those peaks.

Looking out towards the east.

Coming down was harder then climbing up!

Several deer, 3 moose, and a marmot were all spotted on our hike.
