For six years, Dean has been serving on the District Scout Relations Committee in our area. That role has now been assigned to someone else. At the annual awards banquet tonight, he was honored and awarded the District Award of Merit. It was great and appropriate to have his parents there for event.

nice! I think Erika deserves an award, too, for letting Dean spend all of that time doing it!
