I was having a hard time getting excited for Christmas. Its snowing, the Christmas tunes are cranked up, and the Scentsy candles are burning....no excuses!
This has been our favorite part of Christmas so far....it's an advent calendar Amanda made for us. She made it out of match boxes. Each day there is a real cool surprise in the box, and I think we are going to have a cool picture when we are done! Things that we have opened so far...Christmas friendship bracelets, so we have the Christmas spirit all season long. Yummy and cute candies, a sweet note. Amanda told us we couldn't cheat, so at 12:01 am we open our box....then text Caitlyn to see what she got!
Family room is done, now to decorate the entryway and the downstairs family room

It all looks gorgeous! Want to come and decorate my house? Its looking kind of like a bomb went off in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
It is far too hot to do any house decorating! How about sending some snow down here for us please? We are all on Catastrophic Bush Fire Alert around here. Love, The Aussies
Well at least the place looks festive...we're taking down our tree before we leave on Thursday, which seems kind of weird. Isn't Amanda super crafty? We can't wait to see her and the rest of the Deaners...oh and that Francis boy too:)
