I remember clearly our battle with them at the 1530 house when we were putting in our back lawn. The neighbor wanted to put poison out, but we told him there were too many little kids, pets, etc. So one afternoon when Wayne got home from teaching, we were sitting at the kitchen table, and the little varment stuck his head up almost to taunt us. Wayne simply went to the closet, got his old reliabel 30-30 Winchester and blew its head off. Our neighbors across the back yard were cheering us from their kitchen window. Don't think we could do that nowadays!! Just an option in case you need it. On Senda Circle the traps seemed to work best.
AHH!! I can't believe he is holding a gopher in this picture!!! With his bear hands!! Boy those things look like giant rats don't they? Good luck with that war zone in your yard... I hope you win!

Ehh! We have one digging in our new playground area! They are shameless! At least its a safer place for Dean to hunt than up in those High Uintahs!
