Done, kind of

Dean has been building this cool shed, and today he finished it!  ....and then I asked him if he would put a couple shelves in it.  Tomorrow's project.

I need to learn to take better pictures of moving objects.  I was trying to snap pictures, and still push Dex.....a little test in coordination that I failed!

I will figure this out, and then you can appreciate a "in-focus" swing picture if you ever see one!  

Simple answer would be to take it from the side, since the distance from the camera wouldn't change, but I want to get to where I can "pre-focus" on a certain spot and then get the award winning photo!

Doesn't get much better!

Tonight is our last night having Dex sleep over.  Tomorrow his parents come home.  We have had so much fun with this little guy!

Provo City Half Marathon

 Saturday we ran the Provo City Half Marathon.  This is my first race since my surgery.  My nose and sinuses worked great, the course was awesome, the weather perfect....I'm having a hard time coming up with an excuse as to why my time was slow....maybe because I'm old and slow?  Yep, I'll use that as my excuse!

Dex has been staying with us since Thursday.  We are having a blast with him!  Not sure we are going to be willing to give him back to Mike and Manda when they get home!

Krista's surprise

Krista surprised Dexter with this guitar.  It's just his size, almost.  He would strum it and sing "Twinkle, twinkle little star".  I have a feeling he is going to be good at this!  Thanks Krista!!!
