More play room updates

We painted the outside of our playhouse.  Don't ask me what the color is, it's a mixture of the paint that was in our garage!  But I do like it.  

 Hand rail in the loft is up and painted!  We are getting close!  Flooring should be here tomorrow!

Getting kind of cute!

 Check out how cute these windows turned out!  Window boxes are built and painted.  Primer is on all the bare sheetrock.  Getting to the fun stuff now!

Playhouse progress

Mike came over a few nights to help, he got to put on the corner bead....fun!

 Everything has a coat of mud on it now.

 Sanding is all done, ceilings are textured, moldings are all on.  Time to putty and  caulk!  We should be painting tomorrow!  We got the flooring material ordered.

We still have to shingle the roof, build the railing for the loft, and the ladder to climb up into the loft, and build the window boxes!  I'm loving how this is turning out!

The space under our stairs is about to become AWESOME!

Grandpa Deaner is turning it into a playhouse.

 Dex is pretty excited to help Grandpa Deaner. 

 The "cubbies" behind Dex  are where the TV and components will go.  Dex was pretending to play Dr. Mario....just think how excited he will be when there really is a game in there.  I don't think he understands that he isn't going to have to imagine it forever.

This picture is taken from where Dex was standing.  It shows the loft.  we had to keep the back wall open so Dean could bring in the sheetrock.  Soon there will be a wall, with a window in it there.
