Silver Beaver Award

Dean was awarded his Silver Beaver Award tonight.

Great race day

We had a great race today.  The weather was perfect, and the course was awesome.  Neither of us have ever run a trail run, but both of us really enjoyed it.

I placed 2nd in my age division in the 5k.

Dean placed 1st in his age division in the half marathon.

 To stick with tradition, we had our pictures taken in our race shirts, but no Cafe Rio this time, California doesn't have them here, so will have to have it as soon as we get home!

We went over to Min and Mary's, and took tons of pictures of the kids playing with the animals.  Here is a sampling:

Hopefully I'll get the rest done, but for now, have to go to bed, we have a race in the morning!

 Ok, this was pretty funny, Charlotte fell and needed a kiss on her knee from her mom.  Mary just happened to have Lionel on her shoulders.  The picture below is Dean trying to help so Mary didn't topple over as she kissed Charlotte's knee.
