Outside paint and windows

Before and after

Amazing what a little white paint and all new windows will do for a place.

Laundry room
(it didn't exist, it is now in that space on the side of the stairs.  You can see in the yellow wall where they cut the wall to install pipes.)
Before

After...well, kind of during.

The Gray room
(it used to be the blue room)

 So much painting!

The red door, is now this classy looking gray door.  Instead of being the door from the mud room to the kitchen, it is now the back door to the backyard.
My mom played clean up to all the glass doors after my dad painted them.

Yellow door is now gray....the other side of the yellow door was pink and purple.  They gray is a nice change!

Don't even know how many doors my dad painted this last week!  They all look amazing!

Our favorite place to take breaks!
This doe wanted to join us on one of our lunch breaks.

My mom sanded and painted the hand rail.

This is about the only time I saw Amanda sitting down, so I had to get a picture of it!

On the other hand, me sitting down was a pretty common site!
(that's why I'm happier than everybody else!)

To help with the house progress, Nora, Grandma Jenson, and Grandma Eje all went to the farmers market.

This picture of me, and the one below of my mom, were taken by Nora.  She is getting pretty good at taking pictures with my phone!

Sunday, we took the drive out to Canyon Ferry Lake.  Sometimes when you are at a lake, a photo shoot just happens.

ok, anytime you are at a lake with this little girl a photo shoot should happen!

We had 4 generations working at the house this week!

Hanging out at the hotel and riding the carousel are some of our favorite things to do in Helena.
This really is a fun place, with fun people living up there!

If you have stuck with reading this blog this far, then you get to see a funny part of the experience....
the dungeon!
18 inch thick stone walls.  Really cool beams and posts.
....and while the sheetrock and painting has been happening, this is where they live!
We hang out down here, fix meals and eat down here, and the Francis family sleeps down here!
They are hard core!
(I'd like to see Chip and Joanna Gaines do that!)
 This is Amanda's kitchen/bathroom sink.

My mom and dad mentioned a couple of times they felt like they were back on their mission in Colombia living like this!  Amanda said not her, this was much nicer than some of the places she lived in Honduras!
The dungeon kind of grows on you.
My mom drew pictures of the bunny that lives in the yard for each of the kids.  Nora named it Pony.

By the look on Mike's face, living in the dungeon may be getting to him!

Update:  They have moved upstairs!
